Tiger 100 Race Kit Manifolds

The Delta Head is earmarked for the '53, and therefore not available for this build, but I still fancy putting twin carbs on the 51. Just wondering if anybody out there has got one of the original manifold kits as shown here in the bottom right corner. Not that I expect to buy one, but if you have one for sale I'd love to know about it, I'd just like to get hold of some decent pictures and measurements to see if it's possible to make one.

Usual addy if you can help.

Triumph Tiger 100 Or Not?

More like a Tiger 5T

Scored this a few months ago, Tiger 100 on a set of alternator 5T cases, the numbers have been massaged so the crank cases are no good even if they are good.

On the upside it's a big bearing motor, hence the ask for a set of mid/late fifties Tiger 100 cases a few posts ago. Externally the head and barrels look workable, but it may be on +0.060 and -0.040 won't know that 'til we have her to bits, but that's not until a new set o' cases are to hand

Looks like it's seen a bit of action in it's life.
Odd to see the distributor set up on there.

Big Bearing Tiger 100 cases still required folks.

Anybody Got One Of These Under The Bench?

Had a bit of an urge lately to run a rev counter, be a bit different and all that.
Problem is, I can't find one of these...................any offers to the mail addy in the upper left hand of this page please.

Tiger Hundred Cases

For the upcoming T100 build I am after a good set of big bearing T100 cases.
Recently scored a complete motor off of the bay, all the right Tiger 100 bits, but they were built up into a set of 5T alternator cases with the engine number massaged.  Plan A is to rebuild all the parts into a pair of proper cases. So if anyone has a pair they want rid of, or know where there'e a set available, an e-mail would be greatly appreciated.

Mystery Frame From The Far East

Saw this on the TRIDE blog and that's all I know about it, looks sweet and the way the price of original standard frames is going it would make a great alternative. If anybody knows where these are being made or where they can be bought from then I'd love to know.

Smith's Chronometric

Looking to buy one of these, originally fitted to Bantams and a host of small British light weights. One with the regular white numbers on a black background will be fine and dandy. I only posted this pic 'cos I've NEVER seen one with this red on white layout, if anybody knows what they were fitted to, it would be nice to know.
In fact when a speedo does turn up it will almost definitely want rebuilding so it will be worth the ask to see if these faces are available.

Information filtering through.

A couple of people have been in contact regarding the search for a small remote filter unit. Steve sent these two pics of, what he believes to be a late 250 Triumph/BSA unit.

This gives a far better idea of what is being sought, probably half the size of the far more common Commando unit and the universal ones that are on offer, thanks Steve, hope it helps.

Craig from Birmingham also mailed to say that the unit fitted to the LE Velocette is another compact option, that he has successfully used in the past. Cheers Craig, that will broaden the search and may turn up results.

Another lead came through The Jockey Journal regarding a Daytona Project back in 2003 where a guy at Vokes actually re manufactured 3 units. Whether or not that is possible any more, will have to be found out.

Looking for one of these.................

Actively looking for a rear muddie/fender to suit a 47 - 53 rigid Triumph, 5T, 6T or Tiger 100 they're all pretty much the same. I think I have a lead on the shorter lower section so it's really the longer upper section that I crave and lust after. No need for it to be in really good condition, in fact slight damage around the tail end would be an advantage as there is going to be some trimming of the overall length involved. If you can help out please add a comment or send a mail to the addy in the top corner.
