5 3/4” Headlight

Picked these 5 3/4” shells  up from the local Metalspinning company, the same people who make the shells for LF Harris and Ace Classics as it happens.
These are spun from aluminium rather than steel and weigh very little. They only have one 5/8” hole for wiring in the bottom and no hi-beam indicator. I do believe that they are unique to British Ironworks.

RIGID TRIUMPH 650

Steve’s custom 650 really exemplifies the tasteful approach to personalising a rigid Triumph. No hacking and slashing of parts and staying true to the original design laid down by Mr Turner over 80 years ago.

These early Triumph parts are getting harder to find and we are merely custodians They will remain after we have gone on ahead, someone else will have the opportunity of creating something this nice, or leave as it is, but leave the parts in tact to give them the option.

CLOSE TO PERFECT CUSTOM TRIUMPH.

Billy Worthington and his father built this fine looking pre unit as a Father & Son project. It took some time as Billy’s racing career kicked off so the bike was set aside for a decade.  But all boxes were ticked by the time this cool as a penguin’s ball sac was completed in 2016. It doesn’t shout for attention, the non-cogniscenti may well pass it by as a standard bike.  But to those who do know, a long time time can be spent soaking up the intelligent selection of parts used and the level of the fit and finish.
Hats off to them Worthington boys.
