SUMO'S Mule Pussy


SUMO rode his neat little Panther Bobber down to the The Hayride. built as a test bed bike for the motors he is building up for his assault on the salt dual engined Panther! 
It just goes to show that neat stuff can be created "outside of the box" without a huge amount of outlay, but an abundance of imagination.

Boppin' at King Billy's


Took the A7 out for a spin to Northampton yesterday to take a look at the King Billy and Sooty's Custom Show. Good little gig at a first class boozer. Bands, burlesque, burgers, beer and bikes all afternoon, ain't nothing wrong with that. There was a strong showing on the Milwaukee front but this unit Trumpet was doing a fine job of keepin' the flag flying.


Reckon this Knuck may well be a survivor, certainly looks the real deal.


Beautifully built Shovel, it'd be a crime if this didn't win anything on the day.


The A7 at rest on the way back, ran strong all day, after changing the clutch cable which lasted all of 500 yards after setting sail in the morning..

If you ever find yourself at a loose end in Northampton, check out the King William IV on Commercial Street, it's everything a good pub should be.

The Ton Ten Sees The Sun


With the forks in it was only natural to fit the front wheel and a few other bits. The next no-brainer was to get it down on the deck to have a lok at the stance and get an overall feel of how things are going to turn out.


Things always look better in the sun, and seeing as that rare commodity was available, outside it went.


Not the best of pics, but we'll call it moody and arty for now. Pipes look OK though, once they're bracketted on properly that is.


The jury's still out on the bars, want to stay with standard inch Triumph, more in keeping and the big stock twist grip looks nice, but this bend...............not sure.

As One Pile Empties Another Starts To Grow


Manged to talk Chip into parting with this beauty the other day. It's a legendary 8" brake and "Pie Crust" hub as fitted to 54/55 Tiger 110s, a thing of rarity nowadays for sure.


It has joined a small heap of parts that are destined to be the next Triumph build. More information to follow on that soon, stay tuned.

Tiger 100 Race Kit


The fabled Tiger 100 Delta Head in action. Produced as part of the factory race kit, in very limited numbers, from '57 on. Forerunner of the Bonnie head produced from 1958 they are desirable to say the least, if you see one for sale, get on it !!!!!

AT LAST!!!! The A7 sees the street


Finally got an MOT (safety inspection) on the A7, other than a couple of issues with cables the ride to the test station and back couldn't have gone better. The pipes have a deep burble although not as loud as expected, and the ride is planted, all good.


Get some miles under the tyres prior to The Hayride in a couple of weeks.

Vincent Rapide ............... Kustom!

Somewhere in the south of England.........


....... there is heresy afoot. No names, no reprisals as this could piss a few off, but the guy rightly says, "Bollocks to 'em, it's my bike I can do what I like to it!", can't argue with that.


A 1955  series D Rapide , of which, according to the  one of the Vincent sites 151 were made, and the last of the line for Stevenage outfit. 


It's a matching numbers bike, so there is no major frame surgery goin' on here, but enough other work to make it stand out in an Owners Club line up.  
This will be worth keeping an eye on!
